The Year 12 Retreat was a transformative three-day journey filled with adventure, reflection and community, including an overnight stay at Golden Valleys Adventure Camp. On Monday, students embraced new challenges with activities including the zip line, hut building, archery and the daring 'Leap of Faith,' followed by a fun filled 'Siena's Got Talent' night that revealed the unique talents within the group. Tuesday brought a serene Lightwood Walk, offering time for personal reflection and the nurturing of their inner selves.
The retreat continued at Siena College on Wednesday with wellbeing sessions focused on self care strategies, the Cardoner Network’s gap year programs and a relaxing picnic to foster connection. The retreat concluded with a craft and knitting session, where students collaborated to create knitted squares for rugs to help those sleeping rough. The entire experience left them feeling inspired, connected and ready to tackle the challenges ahead, with a renewed sense of purpose after a busy Term 1.
