The Camp Program at Siena College aims to develop self discipline and resilience, as well as to enhance relationships within each year level.
The three day Year 7 camp is held at Lord Somers Camp during the end of Term 1. Students are grouped in Houses to consolidate and develop new friendships, as well as to challenge each other in a range of outdoor activities. Activities include surfing, stand up paddle boarding and screen printing.
While not camping out, the Year 9 Siena in the City program enables students to develop their independence by exploring the City of Melbourne in small work groups. Each group develops a hypothesis about the city, which they have to research and present their findings on.
All Year 10 students travel to Angelsea for an outdoor educational learning experience. This will provide an opportunity for students to learn vital skills whilst developing peer relationships in a beautiful setting.
