Earlier this month, Year 9 student Ruby E, represented Scouts Australia at the prestigious Kandersteg International Scout Centre (KISC) in Switzerland. Situated in the heart of Switzerland, KISC is celebrating its centenary this year, having opened its doors in 1923. This incredible opportunity is a testament to Ruby's dedication and passion for scouting. At KISC, she immersed herself in personal development activities that were adventurous, fun, challenging, and inclusive. As part of the two hundred and thirty-one-member Australian Contingent, Ruby built lasting memories and friendships with scouts from all around the world.
