During Staff Week, Siena College teaching staff conducted a Literacy Showcase, designed to highlight innovative teaching strategies and improve literacy outcomes across the College. Faculty members delivered insightful presentations addressing the context and background prompting their initiatives, the specific challenges they aimed to improve, and the strategic approaches they employed. Each presentation evaluated success through measurable data, highlighting effectiveness and areas for improvement. Furthermore, they outlined how these strategies would be incorporated into ongoing curriculum development and documentation, sharing valuable knowledge throughout the process. This event marked a productive week of planning, collaboration and milestone achievements as we concluded Semester 1.
