Recently, Siena College students were honoured to host Australian Ambassador to the Holy See, Ms Chiara Porro as she spoke about her work in advancing Australia and the Holy See’s broader shared agenda on human rights, conflict resolution and peace building.
Ms Porro is Australia’s second female and youngest Ambassador to the Holy See. As one of the thirty female Ambassadors in the world, she defined leadership as serving with empathy and she hopes to be able to give the Pacific region another voice in the Vatican on challenging issues, such as health security and climate change.
