Yesterday morning, our Year 12 students including Sport Captains, Kara I and Gemma P attended the 2025 GSV Sport Leaders' Breakfast hosted by Presbyterian Ladies' College Melbourne.
They had the incredible opportunity to hear from three inspiring former GSV athletes: Grace Brown, 2024 Paris Gold Medallist (Women’s Individual Time Trial, Cycling); Anabelle Smith, Four-time Olympian and 2016 Bronze Medallist (Synchronised Three-metre Springboard, Diving); and Jean Mitchell, 2024 Paris Olympian (Rowing).
They shared their experiences representing their schools in GSV sport, their journey to the elite level and valuable advice on balancing VCE studies with sporting commitments. A fantastic way to kick off the 2025 GSV season with the first matches starting on Monday, 10 February. Go Siena!
